Apple Cider Vinegar-A Legit Way To Treat Acne?

There are a lot of remedies to treat acne but not all work on all skin types. Yes, you read that, right! If some remedy is working wonders to your friend’s skin and not on yours, don’t worry because this is quite common and it’s usually because you both have different skin types. Speaking of remedies, if you’ve tried everything and nothing worked for you then here’s a little tip: Try using apple cider vinegar!

Believe it or not, people have seen magical results when it comes to treating acne with apple cider vinegar. Yes, this remedy sounds a little disgusting and a little smelly too but don’t worry because there are chances that it will work on your skin. There’s no scientifically proven advantage of apple cider vinegar for acne but still, the people who’ve tried this, they have reported amazing results.

Dermatologist View About Apple Cider Vinegar

According to some dermatologists, if there are no studies about apple cider vinegar and its link with acne, that doesn’t mean that it won’t work or that you shouldn’t try it. Everyone is well aware of the fact that cider vinegar comes with acetic acid in it, and this acid comes with both antibacterial and keratolytic properties. In simpler words, this vinegar might not be able to rip off the main cause of acne on your face, but yes, it can help you in zapping up your bumps right from the source.

Some say that apple cider vinegar cannot help you in curing acne, but it can come in handy by drying out all the whiteheads on your face and killing them. Not only this, in fact, if you’ve got acne scars on your face then you should at least give the apple cider vinegar a try once.

How To Use Apple Cider Vinegar?

We know the next question popping in your mind is “how to use it in the first place?” Well, the answer is quite simple! All you need to do is to take some cotton swab, dip it inside some apple cider vinegar and make sure it’s wet. Once done, you then have to use that cotton and slowly dab it on your face (especially on the areas where there’s acne or acne scars). After this, just wait for 15 minutes, let your skin dry naturally and then rinse your face with cold water.

Try this at least twice or thrice a week before going to bed, and we assure you that you will witness some great results in a short while. Also, make sure to notice if there’s any skin reaction to apple cider vinegar. If your skin is too sensitive and if it turns red or starts burning right after you apply the vinegar, stop using this remedy right away and try something else instead!
